POSITION SUMMARY:
Assembly Technician – All Levels: represents an entry level position through an advanced level. The Assembly Technician will continue to develop technical skills in their assigned areas, further their growth as team contributors, and begin using their experience and technical abilities to demonstrate leadership characteristics. The position requires hands-on experience and growing proficiency of Resolve Surgical’s most complicated processes. This position is critical in helping Resolve Surgical Technologies maximize the number of patients served while maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assembly Technician – All Levels:
- Follow blueprints and work instructions for implant and instrument assembly
- Accurate documentation of inventory use and packaging related functions
- IVS: Assembly of instruments with 1-3 lower-level parts (entry to advanced)
- Zimmer: Cable welding of different material types/controller settings (entry to advanced)
- DPS: Cable cutting, orbit forming, and laser etch (entry to advanced)
- CEA: labeling, documentation, packaging, working in a controlled environment area (entry to advanced)
- Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure specifications using precision instruments
- Maintain hand and machine tools in proper operation condition
- May be responsible for some of all Material Handler activities (entry to advanced)
- Supports cycle counts
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with Resolve’s safety protocols and OSHA requirements.
Assembly Technician 1:
- Entry-level position
- Assembles a limited number of implants and instruments
Assembly Technician 2: Inclusive of level 1 responsibilities
- Intermediate-level position
- Assembles a limited number of implants and instruments
- May be responsible for laser etch/weld processes, including set-up and fixture machines
- Assist with coordinating and conducting training where applicable and needed
Assembly Technician 3: Inclusive of level 1 & 2 responsibilities
- Advanced-level position
- Proficient in the assembly of a number of implants and instruments
- Cross-trained in multiple areas
- Assist with coordinating and conducting training where applicable and needed

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
Assembly Technician 1:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of equivalent work experience preferred
Assembly Technician 2:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of equivalent work experience preferred
Assembly Technician 3:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Recommended 5+ years of experience of equivalent work experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Technical Competencies
- Operation monitoring to ensure a machine is working properly
- Equipment selection
- Basic to advanced department-specific hand and machine tool knowledge
- Computer skills (following SOP’s, navigating One Drive/SharePoint, Propel)
- Basic to Advanced inspection techniques
- Basic to Advanced SAP knowledge/fundamentals
- Equipment selection and maintenance knowledge
