Requirements: 

  • Write compelling headlines, copy, and ‘calls to action’ for a range of brand creative deliverables, including media campaigns, social media content, printed materials, environmental branding, audio ads  
  • Write brand narratives that support and sell the underlying creative idea of a brand or campaign concept to the client and stakeholders. Contribute fresh, conceptual ideas that communicate a client’s strategic message in bold and engaging ways. 
  • Define brand voices that are joyfully disruptive and unapologetically distinctive in the market. 
  • Produce and deliver consistently high-quality creative work that’s smart, strategic, and human in a way that communicates the real emotional benefits of the messages our clients need to communicate. That’s how SimpsonScarborough produces results. 
  • Create effective verbal systems for brands and campaigns, as well as rubrics for use via brand guidelines. 
  • Work collaboratively with peers to sharpen conceptual ideas and executional details so that we’re consistently delivering high-value, high-impact creative work that the agency can take pride in. 
  • Provide words and phrases to collaborators on other teams who could use some support from a professional writer to make their work as powerful as possible for our clients. Share your contributions in these exchanges with your manager for visibility. 

 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 2- or 4-year degree in relevant field and/or any combination of education and relevant work experience.  
  • At least four years of agency copywriting experience is required. 
  • A competitive portfolio of creative work (copywriting) from the past four years. 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.  
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and escalate deviations and changes when appropriate.  
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment. 
  • Comfortable collaborating with remote project teams nationwide. 

 

Salary, Perks & Benefits: 

 

Salary starts at $70,000.00 and will be commensurate with experience.
