We are looking for an energetic and capable inside salesperson who is passionate about taking care of the customer, is well organized, and is a great communicator. This role handles the day-to-day customer communications ensuring that our customers needs are met and that we are growing our company through increased sales.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Answering incoming calls and responding to email requests for quotes.
  • Assisting customers in product selection, application, pricing and lead times.
  • Entering new opportunities, quotes and sales orders into ERP system.
  • Work closely with our applications engineer to quote the best solutions for our customers.
  • Schedule and hold conference calls with engineers to review custom systems.
  • Proactively follow up on and manage quotes in our ERP system.
  • Work with our customers to make sure that NSC is meeting their needs.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong customer service mentality.
  • Self-motivated, driven with a strong desire to achieve sales goals.
  • Ability to understand and grasp technical information and articulate it.
  • High attention to details.
  • Excellent phone and email skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • ERP system experience a plus


Education & Experience

  • At least 2-3 years of inside sales/customer service experience
  • High School diploma
  • College level coursework a plus
