Salary: $35 per hour

Position Overview:

We are a family-owned, growing dental laboratory based in the U.S. and are currently seeking a Dental Technician - Tooth Setter to join our team. We offer competitive wages and benefits for individuals with relevant experience. As a second chance employer, we welcome nonviolent offenders to apply. All positions are on-site, and we are looking for individuals with strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret prescriptions and supporting documentation to understand doctor preferences. Consult with supervisors or OTI leaders if questions arise.
  • Evaluate model work and articulations to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Select denture teeth from stock based on doctor specifications.
  • Mark models to outline restorations.
  • Create base plates, esthetic control bases, and bite rims.
  • Set denture teeth for both fully edentulous and partially edentulous cases.
  • Follow all steps outlined in the Technical Team Policies (TTPs) to ensure consistent and accurate results.
  • Conduct a thorough quality check before passing work to the next technician.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and reach.
  • Must exhibit fine motor skills and perform repetitive motions.
  • Strong manual dexterity is essential.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending and kneeling.
  • Must have good vision, including depth perception, attention to detail, and color recognition.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
