Daycare Teacher Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: Starting from $11.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Daycare Teacher General Position Description: The Daycare Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed.


Requirements:

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinating and implementing educational curriculum
  • Leading by example and encouraging teaching team success
  • Planning individual and group age-appropriate activities
  • Maintaining frequent communication with parents
  • Ensuring all center policies and state regulations are met
  • Supervising teacher assistants and classroom volunteers
  • Maintaining accurate records and files
  • Continuing personal and professional development for continuous quality improvement

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum CDA, TCC, and ECE credits to qualify for Lead Teacher
  • Minimum Associate's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • No weekends

Experience:

  • Teaching: 2 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Tifton, GA 31794: Relocate before starting work (Required)
