The Position: The Café / Bakery Floater is a multi-team role within Camelot and is responsible for a range of duties as assigned across Café and Bakery. The individual in this role has strong communication skills and is effectively able to work independently. This is a part-time position.

The Location: Norwich, VT; onsite daily.

The Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays from 7:00am to 3:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Café

  • Completes opening and closing checklists.
  • Assists with Café set up and closing procedures.
  • Slicing, packaging and labeling bread and pastry for retail sale.
  • Responsible for a clean, safe and organized work area
  • Assists with additional product packaging and re-stocking as needed.

Bakery

  • Packaging and labeling bread and pastry for retail sale.
  • Responsible for a clean, safe and organized work area
  • Assists with additional product packaging and re-stocking as needed.

Additional

  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn, take direction and follow through on assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Effective ability to organize work and establish priorities.
  • Consistently demonstrate team culture, leadership, and commitment to KAB mission and goals.
  • Supports King Arthur’s philosophy of exemplary service to both customers and co-workers.

Minimum job requirements

  • High School diploma or related work experience
  • Willingness to receive training on maintenance request system.
  • First aid training/CPR a plus
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office platforms
  • Employees who drive a company-owned vehicle as part of their jobs will need to be subjected to both a post offer, pre-employment motor vehicle records (MVR) check and a DOT physical, in accordance with applicable laws.   Employees cannot begin employment until KAB is satisfied with the results of both.
