The Position:

We’re looking for compassionate, committed, confident, competent and conscientious Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) in the Bronx.

Shift: All Shifts, Full-Time, Part-Time or Per-diem

Requirements:

  • Resume
  • New York LPN/CNA/RN License and Registration
  • BLS/CPR
  • 2 Reference Letters
  • 2 IDs (must show proof of eligibility to work in the US)
  • Nursing Diploma
  • Physical Exam and PPD
  • Proof of Immunity for Mumps, Measles, Rubella and Varicella with titer levels
  • Drug Test
  • Proof of Flu Shot (during Flu Season, Sept.-May)

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of a supervisor, assists patients in dressing or undressing, bathing, or eating. Help patients with patients’ basic living activities. Listen to the health concerns of patients. Measure vital signs. Housekeeping and tending to patient issues and problems. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens or gather vital signs. Aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Documents patient interactions as needed. Help to take patients to eat and to participate in various activities. Help turn, transfer and reposition patients between wheelchair and bed. Take care of combing hair, shaving, caring for nails and brushing teeth. Cleaning and bathing patients.
