We are seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within our facility, ensuring timely delivery to production lines and accurate storage in designated areas. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to safely operate material handling equipment.


Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials to and from designated locations.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement of materials.
  • Receive incoming materials, verify accuracy of shipments, and inspect for any damages or discrepancies.
  • Prepare materials for production by staging them at designated workstations.
  • Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of material movements.
  • Organize and maintain storage areas, ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with packaging, labeling, and other tasks as needed to support production operations.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate material movements and prioritize tasks.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or similar role preferred.
  • Valid forklift certification and demonstrated proficiency in operating material handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions.
  • Good physical condition, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Working Hours: 6:00am-3:30pm
