The Economic Mobility Program's main goal is to provide a path of economic mobility, strengthening mental health, and overall family stability for young males (age 16-21) living in the St. Louis area who have either been in the juvenile system or are at high risk to incarceration due to these persistent social and economic injustices. We connect young people to the opportunities, relationships, and resources they need to combat the school to prison pipeline. Offering a hands-on vocational program, participants will be able to earn career skill certificates (i.e. forklift, shipping & receiving, job etiquette, etc.) giving them an understanding of the skills and knowledge required to prepare the youth to meet the qualifications for higher paying jobs. We house the youth Sunday-Friday to ensure their ability to focus on school, work and strengthening their mental health.
