Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAssembler $17.00/ HourUniversity Park, IL 1st shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pmWeekly Pay Periods
:Entry-level position. Using hand and power tools, diagnose and correct problems. Participate in activities to improve overall productivity, quality, and reliability.
Responsibilities:

• Supply on time and quality products.
• Safety (5-S) / discipline practices and enforcement of Main shop safety
• Always maintain a clean and organized shop
• Participate in LEAN training and develop and support process improvement practices.

Requirements:

• Standing, walking, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and bending, for extended periods required to perform basic functions along with some sitting.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds is regularly required.
• Exposure regularly to mostly indoor and sometimes outdoor weather conditions
• Could be working at off-site locations either inside or outside.
• Shop environment, dry conditions, heated shop, non-air conditioned.
• Capability in the usage of basic hand tools, fasteners, and power tools (drills, grinders, etc.)
