Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for a skilled Buyer I. Job Title: Buyer IJob Location: Westfield, IN, U.S.A.Job Type: Contract (possible extension and/or FTE)Pay: Starts at $26.00 an hourShift Structure: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; ONSITE (possible hybrid), Monday to Friday, 40 hours per weekAbout the Buyer I Role:
  • Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing activities, planning, forecasting, receiving and meeting the overall supply demands of the production facility.
  • Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
About You: The ideal candidate for Buyer I will have the following skills and experience:
  • Degree in business or related field
  • 1- 3 years of experience
  • Experience preferably in medical devices or manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills along with attention to detail.
