12 Child Development units (3 units must be in infant studies) DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE REQUIRED UNITS
1 year experience preferred.
BI-LINGUAL preferred (spanish)
MUST BE ABLE TO START AUGUST 8, 2024

Job Requirements

1. Sincere desire to serve all families.
2. Ability to relate to and communicate with children and their parents.
3. Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally.
4. Knowledge of developmental stages relevant to age taught.
5. Participate in continuing education opportunities related to child development, child safety, and other relevant areas in child development.
6. Knowledge of child abuse regulations.
7. Current CPR and first-aid training with certificate. (or obtain within 30 days of hire) Must be EMSA approved.
8. Must be available to work a varied shift during hours of operation between 7am-5:30pm Monday-Friday
9. Take Mandated Reporter course through Community Care Licensing (online) and present certificate upon completion to Admin within 1 week of hire. This is a no cost course.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop a responsive, accepting, and consistent relationship with infants; support bonding between infants and adults, including parent and caregivers.
2. Interact frequently with infants; express respect for and affection toward them by smiling and speaking to the infants throughout the day.
3. Treat all children equally.
4. Be responsive to each child with his/her own temperament and development level.
5. Other duties and resposibilities as assigned
