Beacon Clinic was founded for the purpose of delivering a level of care that we, as a team, can all be proud of. We are a patient-focused cancer and rheumatology center that is committed to providing the highest quality of medical care and supportive services. We were founded in 2018 by Dr. David Bartels, focusing on cancer and blood conditions. Today, we provide care services to not only Medical Oncology and Hematology, but Radiation Oncology, and Rheumatology patients as well. We are also dedicated to advancing the field by engaging in clinical research and offering our patients the opportunity to participate in various clinical trials.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepares patient charts prior to office visit for provider review and ease of visit.
• Accompanies assigned provider during office visits, taking notes as directed by the provider into the electronic health records system.
• Communicates with provider and clinic staff to ensure that accurate information is in patient’s chart.
• Assists provider in setting up patient prescriptions.
• Completing all administrative tasks efficiently and helping the provider with visit duties.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Compassionate and caring bedside manner.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to balance competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Education/Training:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience in a medical office setting
• Understanding of medical terminology required.
