Growing IT department seeking energetic team member to work as Desktop Administrator.

Working in our diverse IT team, this individual is responsible for working closely with other IT members and our Managed Service Provider to provide a reliable and secure environment. This role entails providing responsive technical support and services to our user base of approximately 200 users, across 2 locations. The primary focus of this position is administering our desktop computers and peripherals in addition to supporting help desk operations. Additionally, this person will work closely with our Systems Administrator on various other projects.


Job Functions Include (but not limited to):

  • Desktop Administration
  • Answering Help Desk Calls
  • Some after-hours support
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting
  • User Training
  • Server & Network Administrative Tasks
  • Strategic Planning for Future System Needs
  • Maintaining Accurate Documentation
  • Accurate License Management
  • Working with Managed Service Provider
  • Security & Video Systems Management
  • Various Project Work

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years working in IT
  • Troubleshooting Skills
  • Management of Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong Communication Skills, verbal and written
  • Experience developing and maintaining documentation
  • Ability to provide user training
  • Functional understanding of Network Communications
  • Functional understanding of Server Administration
  • Functional understanding of Desktop Management
  • Project Management Skills

Preferred Requirement:

  • Experience with IT support in a food production environment
  • Experience Supporting Dell Hardware
  • Experience with Network Storage Appliances
  • ShoreTel Phone System Experience
  • MS SharePoint Experience
  • Experience with Door Access and Video Surveillance Systems
  • PowerShell Experience
  • Experience with Desktop Imaging tools
  • Experience with Group Policy
