Role and Responsibilities

The position of Shop Technician is based in the Denver office with main roles and responsibilities being in the new build shop. There is a variety of duties that may be performed while supporting the operation of Automated Business Technologies.


  • Assemble a variety of copier/printer devices from Canon, Epson, HP, Kyocera, or Xerox.
  • Review the schedule of upcoming installations and communicate what is needed from the warehouse to prep for those installations.
  • Complete the Copier or printer build process and make sure the device functions with all added accessories.
  • Troubleshoot the build for errors that occur when assembling the new devices.
  • Work on used units to get them in a refurbished, ready to deliver state.
  • Enter device information into the computer.
  • Other miscellaneous operational tasks.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Experience with servicing Canon, Epson, HP, Kyocera, or Xerox devices is preferred.
