About The Position

Intuitive Machines is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will manage IT infrastructure for multiple long-term contracts and support the operations of our local office. We are looking for a professional with a strong background in supporting research, data storage, and data processing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and support infrastructure for multiple active spacecraft missions
  • Oversee system administrator professionals and interns
  • Manage large enterprise storage systems
  • Manage clusters of web servers, database servers, and processing nodes
  • Ensure IT projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Maintain strong relationships with IT vendors
  • Create and maintain test environments for web sites, processing pipelines, and other mission-related software
  • Manage deployment systems for commercial, open source, and in-house developed software
  • Provide development and scripting support for staff

Qualifications:

  • 20+ years managing IT infrastructures
  • 20+ years maintaining highly-available database infrastructure with PostgreSQL
  • 20+ years automating processes with shell scripting or other technologies
  • 10+ years managing Isilon/Powerscale storage systems
  • 10+ years managing a cross-platform network environment (Linux, MacOS, Windows)
  • 10+ years software development with C, C++, and Ruby
  • 5+ years with configuration management systems (Puppet preferred)
  • Capable of managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Expertise meeting NASA Planetary Data System archival requirements
  • Expertise supporting active spacecraft missions
  • Expertise with central LDAP authentication systems

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in web development with HTML, CSS
  • Experience in distributed computing
  • Experience with managing Ruby environments using Bundler and RVM
  • Experience using and maintaining software version control including Subversion and Git
