The Church of the King Film Team is looking for a razor-sharp Videographer / Film Editor with a keen mind for content. This full-time role will primarily be responsible for capturing and transforming content into multiple deliverables. This is our top-tier content, so we need a top-tier visionary, creator, film capturer, and editor to give it the creative attention it deserves.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Capture video stories, promos, and other content and stewarding/editing content into a final product

• Brainstorm fresh approaches to presenting content on our platforms

• Create compelling life change stories of how people have encountered Jesus

• Plan, schedule, shoot, edit video footage for various purposes

• Other duties as assigned

Competency/Knowledge Requirements

• A quick-thinking, decisive film creator/editor with an ear for compelling content

• Understand how to direct talent in order to capture desirable content

• Highly organized with great attention to detail

• Basic knowledge of three-point lighting and film set design

• Basic knowledge of color grading and sound editing

• Familiarity with digital video cameras (BMD, Sony, RED); lenses; and accessories

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects, (and related Creative Suite apps) and DiVinci Resolve.

• Comfortable working with graphic designers to create fresh looks

• Curious about emerging digital trends and social media platforms

• Be versatile to interact with both Apple and PC environments
