Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of the café maintaining a positive atmosphere
  • High quality customer service
  • Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with guests requests
  • Assist our guests with their dessert orders
  • Order goods and manage stock control
  • Hiring and onboarding new wait staff and baristas
  • Manage a small crew of associates
  • Work with management to train and monitor sanitation and food handling in accordance with ServSafe guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • Execute steps to open a register and stock with needed opening currency totals

Requirements:

  • Work experience as a Cafe Manager/Supervisor or Barista
  • Ability to implement and maintain systems for staff as directed by Leadership
  • High integrity with a great attendance record
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking
