Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This role is integral in ensuring smooth operations for our school contracts while also managing the recruitment of top-tier educational professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment or client services, with the ability to build and maintain relationships, solve problems effectively, and support our mission of enhancing educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage job postings across various platforms to attract qualified candidates for a range of roles, including teachers, special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and instructional facilitators.
  • Review and screen resumes to identify potential candidates with the qualifications and experience required for each role.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidate fit, experience, and suitability for specific roles.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with school administrators and hiring teams, ensuring a smooth and timely process for both candidates and schools.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future staffing needs by networking and building relationships with potential candidates.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates, feedback, and support to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and other team members to align recruitment efforts with organizational needs and objectives.
  • Accurately track and document all recruitment activities, including candidate interactions, interview outcomes, and hiring decisions, in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Serve as the primary liaison between PDS, our contracted schools, and our staff, delivering exceptional customer service and support.
  • Address and resolve day-to-day questions, issues, and concerns from schools and employees promptly and professionally.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations with composure.
  • Proficiency in Gmail Suite, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other office software.
  • Experience in client services or talent acquisition, preferably within the educational or healthcare staffing industries.
