Veterinary Receptionist

Answering telephone calls, greeting and admitting patients as well as checking clients out at the end of their appointments. Duties include handling walk in clients, answering questions, and some prescription preparation as well as sales of prescriptions, diets, treats, preventatives and over the counter products.  Also intake of supplies and packages that are delivered.  As the first person at the hospital that most clients will interact with either in person or over the phone the receptionist position is the "face of the practice" and is considered an extremely important and valuable position.   We will train  you in our preferred way of educating pet owners regarding best practices in pet care including vaccines, diets, preventatives and behavior training to enhance the human-animal bond.   Our culture is CARE which stands for Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Enthusiasm.   Hiring employees that are a good fit with us means that they are fully bought into that culture.
