The Bilingual Accountant - Internship will assist the department and employees from the accounting department. will have the opportunity to put into practice all the theory learned at school. Will learn to work in a friendly work environment while learning different technics to be successful in the career of accounting.

Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks a plus**
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Process commercial transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, and receipts of expenses from our clients.
  • Help the manager with all accounting transactions, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, and compiling tax data and financial reports.
  • Ability to file sales tax, payroll tax, payroll returns, and process payroll.
  • Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations.

Requirements and skills

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of MS Excel skills including pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree

Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial

QuickBooks Online experience is a must. Job requires daily use of QuickBooks

Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Able to prepare, review, and understand a financial statement.
