Job Summary

Friendly individuals with a positive attitude and willingness to work with the public to join our team as a Cannabis Consultant (Consultant). The Consultant's role is a hybrid of bartending and pharmacology; they are welcoming and engage in friendly and positive conversation while consulting customers based on their individual needs. Consultants are responsible for maintaining a kind and safe environment to provide our customers with a delightful experience.


Essential Responsibilities

Consultants perform a critical role and are the main point of contact with our customers. Consultants must be detail-oriented to minimize loss through accuracy. Consultants are responsible for but not limited to:

  • Customer service
    • Maintaining a friendly, positive, helpful demeanor at all times
  • Register actions
    • Correctly and accurately opening and closing a personal register
  • Learning sales software procedures
    • Knowledge of all steps to complete a sale from start to finish
  • Maintaining in-depth product knowledge
    • Ability to assist customers in the navigation of our vast product offerings with confidence
    • Ability to properly utilize peripheral marketing materials to educate customers and close sales
  • Organization and upkeep of the sales floor and storage
    • Diligently maintaining a clean work area
  • Attend meetings and training
  • General cleaning and sanitary practices

Essential Requirements

  • Shifts tend to be 6 to 8 hours, with the majority of the time spent on your feet
  • Part-time available for 3-4 shifts per week, full-time 5 days per week
  • Ability to learn point-of-sale software
  • Customer service experience is encouraged
  • Excellent attendance is required
  • Bilingual is a plus
