Programming Internship at Smosh

 

Are you passionate about digital content production and eager to dive into the world of programming within a creative environment? Join the Smosh team as our Fall Intern and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative setting. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside our talented production teams and contribute to the creation of engaging content across various platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Support: Collaborate with Smosh teams on various tasks related to the development and production of digital content, including both pre-production and post-production activities.
  • Research & Development: Assist in trend-spotting and ideation processes, contributing to the creation of innovative content for YouTube and other platforms.
  • Content Creation: Support the team in the production of short-form and long-form content, including ideation, filming, and editing.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend and contribute to departmental meetings, taking notes and assisting in the coordination of production schedules.

 

Core Competencies:

  • Creative Skills: Strong interest in digital content creation and production.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of video production, editing, and related software.
  • Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail to ensure quality and consistency in all tasks.
  • Effective Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, even under tight deadlines.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to handle various tasks and adapt to changing needs.

 

Educational Requirement:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
