Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsible for fitting and welding steel, aluminum, and stainless steel parts using MIG and/or TIG processes. Also required to perform additional tasks assigned by the Project Manager.


Full-Time Position:

Monday to Friday

1st Shift Only (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Comfortable work environment with air conditioning

Small business setting

1/2 hour paid lunches


Primary Responsibilities:

- Set up welding machines based on job requirements or Welding Procedure Specifications

- Interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine welding specifics

- TIG weld steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components according to blueprint specifications

- Maintain attention to detail and focus on assigned tasks

- Adhere to safety regulations and quality standards

- Collaborate with team members to enhance productivity and efficiency


Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and training preferred

- Preferred experience with drill press, shearing, lathe, bandsaw, and brake press

- Familiarity with steel, aluminum, and/or stainless steel

- Highly preferred: 4 years of experience with TIG welding

- Capable of lifting heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently

- Proficient in identifying and measuring materials

- Demonstrates a willingness to learn with a reliable work ethic

- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges

- Capable of standing continuously for extended periods of time
