PART-TIME, Nonexempt : 20 hours

Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) seeks a talented Outreach Caseworker to contribute their expertise in providing essential business services to our provider organizations and customers. Rise Up Rochester, a nonprofit dedicated to fostering a nonviolent community and supporting crime victims, is seeking an Outreach Caseworker to join our team through CCSI. In this role, you will work closely with local high schools to support staff by conducting mediations, facilitating peer group sessions with youth, and providing essential social and emotional support.


CCSI is partnering with Rise Up Rochester to hire an Outreach Caseworker. This position is employed by CCSI and working on behalf of Rise Up Rochester.


In this role, you will be

  • Developing relationships with at-risk youth, young adults, and their families.
  • Conducting neighborhood canvassing, especially in high-risk areas and after shooting.
  • Table-ing at community events.
  • Collaborating with other organizations doing community outreach.
  • Attending daily outreach debriefing meetings.
  • Attending daily outreach debriefing meetings.
  • Conducting mediations with the community and partner with community organizations.
  • Helping develop and implement our Boys 2 Men program for high-risk youth. Mentor and build relationships with participants.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Highschool diploma/GED and 5 years of work experience, or equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart)
  • Training in areas such as solution-focused trauma-informed care, Restorative practice, and Conflict resolution.


Additional Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings.
  • Flexible on some Saturdays & Sundays for neighborhood events.
