Macon, GADirect Hire PositionSalary: $60K-63KMust be willing to relocate and work onsite in Macon, GADescriptionSAFETY:
Understand and follow all safety procedures
1. Current on all safety trainings
2. Wears all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs)
Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks.SKILLS:
Facilitate effective communication between two parties that do not speak a same language by converting one spoken or written language to another (English and Japanese).
Convert, edit, and proofread written materials from one language into another accurately.
Attending meetings and conferences to translate, take notes, and write a meeting minute.
Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs.
Supporting the project team by performing other duties whenever it is necessary.KNOWLEDGE:
Fluency in both English and Japanese
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Prior interpreter experience with spoken word preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and especially Excel
Strong organization skills
Previous work experience as a translator, interpreter, or similar role in manufacturing environment.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping.
Must be able to work environment which is dusty and noisy.
Must be able to work in a plant environment with extreme seasonal temperatures.
Must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 pounds.BEHAVIORS:
