Job Summary:

 

We are growing rapidly and need additional support for our HR and Administrative departments.

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources & Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support both Human Resources and Administration by providing excellent, confidential employee service(s). What happens in HR - stays in HR

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Assist in recruitment processes including job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks & MVR checks. This role will interview with management staff.

-Project management such as scanning paper files into our new HRIS system.
- Support training and development initiatives by coordinating training sessions and tracking employee progress.
- Aid in succession planning efforts by maintaining employee records and assisting in identifying potential candidates for internal advancement.
- Promote positivity in the work environment at all levels of the organization.
- Provide administrative support for HR programs such as benefits enrollment, performance evaluations, and employee recognition.
- Assist with HR sourcing activities including resume screening and initial candidate assessments.
- Handle employee relations matter professionally and confidentially.
- Utilize HR systems such as BambooHR for data entry and reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
- Demonstrate conflict management skills when addressing employee concerns or disputes.

This position will be a back- up for payroll, scheduling and for billing. The role is 50% HR and 50% administration.

Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
- Project management skills - a plus
- Proficiency in HR software applications such as BambooHR.

- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Knowledge of employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR sourcing techniques.
