Village Caregiving, located in Fort Wayne and serving the community of Angola, Indiana, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team on a part-time, hourly basis. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing a range of non-medical services to our clients, allowing them to maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own home. This is a vital role in our organization, and we are looking for someone who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Compensation & Benefits:
We are offering a competitive hourly rate of $15 to $18, paid semimonthly. In addition, our caregivers also receive the following benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with light housekeeping, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up
- Companionship and socialization with clients, engaging in meaningful activities and conversations
- Medication reminders 
- Document daily activities and any changes in the client's condition, reporting them to the care team
- Follow the client's care plan and communicate with their family and medical professionals as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in caregiving, preferably in a home care setting
- Must be able to pass a background check 
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred, but will provide
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must be willing to work in Angola, Indiana
