HiFyve is hiring a Construction Estimator in the Orlando, FL area

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing the estimating and pricing schedule
  • Responsible for providing accurate quantity takeoffs within specified deadlines using estimating software.
  • Prepare quantity estimates for job opportunities based on blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documentation.
  • Analyze project requirements to determine quantities for pricing by project managers and executives.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure competitive quotes are provided promptly.
  • Review estimates with the Field Operations Department to ensure accurate analysis of material and labor costs.
  • Understanding the industry of Commercial and Industrial Painting and Coatings, Waterproofing, Resinous Flooring, and Fireproofing

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working in construction estimating and general construction experience.
  • Experience utilizing Construction Estimating Software such as On Center/On Screen Takeoff, BatchFlex, Plan Swift, or similar toolsstrongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and estimating software, with the ability to work with scale and gather necessary information efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and effective communication skills at all times.
