Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restoration Technician to join our growing team. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a vital role in restoring and repairing buildings and structures that have been damaged due to fire, water, mold, or other catastrophic events. Your expertise will help us bring buildings back to their pre-damaged condition, ensuring safety and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate damage to properties, including water damage, fire damage, and mold growth.
  • Develop and implement restoration plans in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Respond to work orders in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
  • Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification to minimize further damage.
  • Remove and dispose of damaged materials, such as carpet, drywall, and insulation.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks.
  • Clean and sanitize affected areas to prevent the spread of mold and bacteria.
  • Repair and restore damaged structures, including flooring, walls, and ceilings.
  • Document work performed and maintained accurate records of restoration projects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and customers.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration and Applied Structural Drying preferred.

Job Details

  • Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, on call, weekends as needed.
  • Work Location: Kernersville, NC

Pay Details

  • $18.00 to $22.00 per hour.
