The Office custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our office facilities. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure that the office environment is essential for productivity and employee satisfaction. We seek a dedicated detail-orientated Office Custodian to join our team and ensure our office spaces are clean, organized, and welcoming.


Role and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize office areas, including restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and clean carpets.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and office equipment.
  • Empty trash and recycle bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
  • Restock supplies in the restrooms and break rooms as needed.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are stores properly and maintain inventory of cle3aning supplies
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms and events as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent job experience
  • Proven experience as a custodian, janitor, or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
