Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionWe are excited to add an Associate Veterinarian to our team There is an opportunity to see a wide variety of medical and surgical cases, build your own clientele, and become a part of our local community. This position would be a great opportunity for a new graduate looking for mentorship, as well as an experienced veterinarian looking to grow their clientele within our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Veterinarian’s role in the hospital is a position of leadership, trust, and respect and shall conduct themselves accordingly 
  • Support the development of staff members through support of the company’s LevelUp clinical training program
  • Promote the human-animal bond through exceptional client experience 
  • Manage multiple patients and varying priorities within allotted timeframes
  • Oversee the medical care of all patients of the practice and serve as the veterinarian of record for all required hospital permits and licenses
  • Partner with Practice Manager to set medical standards within the hospital and supervise communication with clients, being available to address questions, concerns, or medical complaints as they arise
  • Collaborate with Regional Medical Director to establish medical guidelines and partner with Practice Manager to support medical training of support staff

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
  • Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
