Position: Overnight Sitter/Attendant for Elderly Alzheimer's Patient

• $15-$25 per hour.
• Location: Frisco, Texas
• Schedule: Nightly, 9 PM to 6 AM

🔍 Job Overview:
We are looking for a caring and attentive Overnight Sitter/Attendant to provide one-on-one care for an elderly Alzheimer’s patient. The role involves supervising the patient overnight to ensure they remain safe, particularly preventing the patient from removing their medical dressings. This position requires a patient and vigilant individual who can manage specific Alzheimer’s-related behaviors with empathy and professionalism.

👩️‍⚕️ Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the patient continuously throughout the night to ensure safety.
• Prevent the patient from ripping off their medical dressings.
• Assist with adjusting positions in bed to ensure comfort and prevent bedsores.
• Provide timely communication of any health changes to family or medical professionals.
• Offer basic needs assistance, such as using the restroom or drinking water.
• Maintain a calm and soothing presence to help stabilize patient behaviors.

🎓 Qualifications:

• Experience in caring for elderly patients, particularly those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• High level of patience and ability to manage stressful situations calmly.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with both patients and healthcare professionals.
