At Wake Veterinary Hospital, we are focused on providing exceptional quality medicine to our patients and top-notch customer service to people who love animals just as much as we do. A positive attitude, great communication skills with staff and clients, and a strong work ethic are essential.

The candidate should also be able to multi-task and thrive in a team environment.

You must be able to commit to the training which will be 6 weeks beginning June 17th.

We seek an energetic and enthusiastic technician assistant to deliver quality pet care and outstanding customer service. Dogs and cats receive high-quality care at our hospital. Assistant duties would include, but are not limited to:

The Technician Assistant assist the Veterinary Assistant.

Feeding pets according to owner instructions

Keeping water bowls full

Appropriately medicating pets

Following laundry procedures

Keeping facility floors and yards clean

Supervising dogs properly when outside

Bathing animals as instructed

Ensuring proper pet identification is in place

Documenting care appropriately

Following safety procedures

Keeping runs and cages clean throughout the shift

Requirements and Qualifications

· Exceptional Customer Service and Communication Skills

· Positive attitude

· Must be able to multitask and thrive in a team environment

Must be available every other weekend.
