Job Title: Commercial Sales Representative

Job Description

  • First 6 Months:
  • Participate in company Sales training.
  • First 2 months shadowing a senior salesperson, learning the company process.
  • Month 3 and 4 working side by side with senior salesperson, hands on training.
  • Month 5 and 6 senior salesperson shadowing you, this is the grooming process.
  • First 2 Years:
  • Continually increase your knowledge of the sales process.
  • Prospecting and Qualifying Clients
  • Performing roof inspections based on the company standard.
  • Creating inspection reports for the client to review in a timely manner.
  • Creating Estimates based on the client’s request.
  • Creating and presenting the Proposal to the client.
  • Providing next steps for the client.
  • Keeping the customer informed on the progress of their project.
  • Consistently follow up with the client.
  • Taking care of tasks set forth in CRM.
  • Asking for referrals and reviews after the project is completed.
  • Attending all safety meetings and being able to fill out an incident report.
  • Learning how to use tools and equipment properly.
  • Attending trainings on installation of the various systems Grand View provides
  • Attending weekly sales meeting in person.
  • Entering weekly sales numbers into Sales Numbers spread sheet.
  • Responsible to manage one’s own time.
