We are Priority Escrow of California, a DFPI licensed escrow company owned by Priority Title and Escrow, a nationwide title & escrow company. We believe in putting people before profits, a culture of care and respect, and always doing the right thing, even when it’s hard.

While you will be plugged into a national brand, this Palmdale office has a boutique, start-up feel and runs more or less independently from the parent company. We are seeking an experienced Escrow Assistant to support the lead Escrow Officer and to help grow this office.

A Day In the Life:

  • Assist with opening escrow files and gathering necessary documentation
  • Review contracts and loan documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare escrow instructions and settlement statements
    Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction
  • Conduct basic math calculations to ensure accurate financial transactions
  • Process loan documents and handle loan origination tasks
  • Perform credit analysis and verify borrower information
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the escrow process
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Assist with marketing tasks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in escrow, loan processing, or mortgage servicing is highly desirable
  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately
  • Proficient in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with TILA, FNMA guidelines, and Fair Housing regulations

Compensation:

Salary: $20 - $24/hr
