PRN Hospital Pharmacy Technician

PRN (As-Needed) Hospital Pharmacy Technician Position Available - This position will pick up shifts on an as-needed basis on weekdays at Abbeville Area Medical Center in Abbeville, SC. Candidates must have at least 2 days per week of availability in general to be consider for this role. Weekday hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am-4pm. Weekend shifts are available as well. 

• This is not a remote/work-from-home position
• No hospital pharmacy experience required

Job Description:

Assists the pharmacist in providing medication, drug information, and pharmaceutical services to patients, nurses, physicians and other hospital personnel. Receives and stores incoming deliveries of medication and supplies. Demonstrates an ability to calculate figures and amounts relating to dosage calculations when filling various prescriptions ranging from the newborn to the elderly populations. Maintains inventory of supplies in pharmacy and other departments and reorders them accordingly.
