  • Collect content of adoptable animals upon request - may be at rescue, at foster home, or at your house, or out on a “doggy date”
  • Follow guidelines for excellent content gathering and creation - variety, high quality, best foot forward
  • Jump on the task in a timely manner once you receive a dog assignment
  • Edit photos, create video in iMovie, upload video to youtube
  • Write fresh bio by performing an interview with the foster or with the staff member who knows the dog best if it is a boarding dog
  • Upload all new bio and content:
    • Into dog’s profile on AF
    • Make note on dog “profile updated”
    • Post on FB Adoptables Page
    • Post on Insta/FB stories with link to animal
    • Add to duplication spreadsheet

  • Full time employee salary
    • hybrid position between home and Friendswood office
    • Salary $31,200
    • Health benefits
  • Part time
    • 9am-3pm, 5 days per week hourly, taking content at Friendswood office, flex schedule based on assigned animals
    • Hourly $14/hr

Requirements:
  • Must love dogs and know dogs and be willing to learn more
  • Must be comfortable with all breeds
  • Must have an eye for excellent pics/videos from a marketing perspective
  • Self-starter, assertive
  • Collaborative and not afraid to ask questions and improve
  • Marketing or sales experience
  • Social media experience and enjoyment
  • Organized and confident juggling multiple tasks
