Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday - Saturday, 40 hours a week (Closed Sunday and usually have time off during the week)

Job Description

The responsibility of the Non-Ferrous Warehouse team member will be to help process metals and materials from the public and commercial companies and assist in the organization of the warehouse.

Essential functions

  • Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Sort different metals and wire
  • Great customers and help unload customer materials
  • Working as a team
  • Utilizing forklifts to move materials
  • Working outside in all seasons

Competencies

  • Proficient with inventory control systems.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Work environment

  • Inside / Outside
  • Fast paced

Physical demands

  • Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
  • Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.

Required education and experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Preferred education and experience

  • Knowledgeable with different metals
  • Experience in driving forklift
