Qualifications
Experience:
- 1 year of recent bookkeeping experience, (preferably) in a home services agency or other healthcare related field
- Previous billing experience preferred

Responsibilities:
Works with scheduling department to assure correct authorization of visits done.
Data entry of caregiver timesheets into scheduling system on a weekly basis to include review of Electronic Visit Verifications (EVV) with scheduling staff.
Prepares and submits Billing and Payroll under Director supervision
Invoice building for Medicaid, VA and Private Pays, manage private pay accounts and LTC insurance, learn payers and authorizations, catch billing errors before they happen, verify invoices, data entry for each billing type, cross train on Medicaid billing.
Manage VA authorizations for billing, use the portal, manage RFS
Filing Billing invoices and Payroll documentation
Training for AR management to include prompt resolution of AR over 90 days with Director, responsible for timely completion of all billing forms, manages and assures all billing denial documentation is collected and sent timely
Training for AP accounts, paying vendors and recording in accounting software and file
Follows procedure for taking deposits and receiving weekly private pay payments
Participates in Quality Assurance (QA) Committee program as assigned
Other duties as assigned by Director

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
