Job Title: Warranty Specialist

Job Description:

As a Warranty Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately verifying warranty coverage for both manufacturer and extended warranties across a variety of vehicle makes and models. Your primary responsibilities will include answering customer inquiries related to warranty coverage, verifying warranty information through manufacturer and extended warranty websites, returning calls to customers with warranty inquiries, and scheduling appointments when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify warranty coverage for manufacturer and extended warranties on different makes and models.
  • Answer customer questions regarding warranty coverage and provide clear and concise information.
  • Utilize manufacturer and extended warranty websites to verify warranty information accurately.
  • Return calls promptly to address customer inquiries and provide assistance with warranty-related issues.
  • Schedule appointments when necessary and ensure smooth coordination with service departments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of warranty information and customer interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in automotive service or warranty-related roles is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to customers over the phone.
  • Basic computer and phone skills are a must.
  • Comfortable working in a desk-oriented environment for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Familiarity with automotive industry terminology and warranty processes.
