ETL Developer

Washington DC Area/ Hybrid

We currently have an opening for a ETL Developer This position involves working with various clients to provide data-driven solutions that drive real change in both government and commercial non-profit missions.

  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team of business analysts, data scientists, and other engineers
  • Developing solutions for customized software and data pipelines using modern cloud computing services
  • Collaborating closely with project managers to design and execute development sprints, drive iterative progress, and effectively integrate client feedback into ongoing projects

Requirements for this position include the following:

  • 5+ years of experience programming in Python and SQL
  • 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining database stored procedures, views, and functions
  • 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining efficient data pipelines, addressing data challenges such as inconsistency, quality issues, and complex transformations in Microsoft Azure (AWS also acceptable)
  • 4+ years of experience configuring and interfacing with cloud storage such as S3, EFS, and EBS
  • 3+ years of experience in database design and implementation
  • 3+ years of data warehousing experience with Redshift, Snowflake, etc.
  • Experience using Airflow and Databricks
  • Experience using containerization tools
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
