Messenger Dispatcher

As the Messenger Dispatcher, the individual will supervise him/herself and a team of 3 messengers and, all customer relationships within the Building daily.

Responsibilities:

• All outgoing messenger deliveries, USPS Mail pick-ups from the Jersey City Post Office and execution of all requested bank deposits.
• Receiving and processing of incoming courier deliveries parcels, boxes etc.
• Providing Customer Service, managing delivery schedules and the prompt and efficient delivery of all outgoing messenger deliveries.
• Completing and managing all daily operational logs and reports.
• Messenger Dispatcher will also be responsible for training floaters when necessary.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of dispatching and messenger experience.
• Must know the Jersey City and NYC area and traveling within and throughout via MTA.
• Supervisory, Data Entry, Strong PC skills, and Exceptional Customer Service (via telephone and email) skills.
• Fostering and managing client relationship daily, as our team sits in the midst of internal users/clients.
• Individual will be Solely responsible for inputting, verifying and managing all daily, monthly operational reports.
• Well versed in and with ALL Messenger service provisions
• Able to problem solve and make independent decisions.
