Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Community United Child Care Centers and Preschool (CUCCC) is looking for teachers who love taking care of tiny humans in the 3-year-old rooms at the VGM center in Waterloo You will be employed by Community United Child Care Centers and Preschool (CUCCC) where teachers are responsible for taking care of children by accepting and loving hugs, laughing at kiddo’s jokes, singing songs, and counting the heads of energetic, fast-paced kids on a day-to-day basis.

If you have experience working in a licensed early childhood program or a degree in elementary school education and a strong passion for caring for kiddos, this job is for you

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working on a licensed early childhood program or a degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • Willing to obtain training in CPR/First Aid, mandatory child abuse reporter, Universal Precautions and Essentials in Childcare within 90 days of employment.
  • Display the Community United core values of providing care to children in a warm and nurturing environment and meeting the social-emotional and educational needs of the children.

Time and Compensation:

  • Hours: Full Time
  • Compensation: $14.00 -$17.25 per hour
