DeSales University, in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, is a Catholic, private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts university. POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Education and Community Engagement (DECE) oversees and coordinates all aspects of Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival's education and community engagement programs, including the administration of the tours, an annual high school Shakespeare competition, Community Day, pre-show "Prologue" discussions, student groups' visits, and relationship cultivation with various external organizations. The DECE oversees the Festival's accessibility programming, including ASL-interpreted, audio described, and sensory-friendly "relaxed" performances. The DECE works closely with the leadership of the Festival's Volunteer Guild Board to coordinate volunteer activities and initiatives during, and in preparation for, the summer Festival season. Additionally, the DECE provides other managerial support and oversight, including the work-study and internship programs.
