We are currently searching for an experienced Document Control Specialist for a major alternative delivery program to support our Mid Atlantic Region located in Camp Hill, PA.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing the flow of documents between internal and external partners and contractors for assigned projects
  • Coordinate, review and assess contract submittals
  • Review and process construction for project design submittals and ensure forms as per existing standards
  • Documents pertinent project activities in order to maintain accurate records. Implements QC/QA procedures and documentation as directed by senior staff.
  • Writes reports and correspondence, and communication with contractors, supervisors, local agency officials, subordinates, media and the general public
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure compliance with contract documents

What you need to have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction contract administration function
  • Communication Skills: Must have above average oral and written language skills. Conveys information clearly and effectively through formal and informal documents
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organization and prioritization skills to handle changing tasks and priorities
  • Computer Skills: Ability to use computer and other basic office equipment. Ability to use word processing and spreadsheet software for work involving setting up and using spreadsheets, data entry, do basic formatting, including the ability to type quickly and accurately. Commonly used packages include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Outlook, Site Manager, and other owner furnished software programs.
  • Confidentiality: High degree of professional judgment; ability to generate trust and retain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with contract language and organization
  • Strong in time management and organization skills
