Maintenance Technician

A Maintenance Technician is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards, and scheduling major repairs with the building’s inhabitants.

1. Duties and responsibilities

• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
• Assist with building and equipment repairs if possible.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
• Planning and scheduling repairs.
• Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies.
• Write and edit standard operating procedures
• Work with quality to update various records
• Learn to operate and maintain newly installed automated machinery
• Train new operators
• Assist manufacturing process improvements
• Build a culture of safety and efficiency
• And other duties as assigned

1. Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Physically capable and available to work overtime, including weekends and evenings.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be well-organized and be able to prioritize tasks.
• Any experience with ISO13485 is a plus
