Job Summary: We're looking for a dedicated and dependable Foreman to head our concrete/masonry restoration crews. In this pivotal role, you'll manage everything from the ground up in our construction projects, guaranteeing timely completion, staying on budget, and upholding supreme quality standards. The perfect candidate will bring a robust background in project management and proven leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the construction project.
  • Ensure compliance with all building and safety regulations on-site.
  • Schedule and monitor key deliverables and milestones, ensuring timely progress.
  • Maintain project budgets and provide regular progress reports to management.
  • Identify and address potential issues and risks in project execution.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to construction staff.
  • Develop strategies to enhance efficiency and performance throughout the project.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of all construction equipment.
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Create and manage employee work schedules.
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Resolve conflicts and coordinate activities between staff and contractors.
Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Foreman, with foreman training or certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and safety regulations.
  • Advanced understanding of construction methods, building products, and codes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
  • Proficiency in reading Blueprints and construction management software.
  • Ability to dissect complex projects into manageable tasks.
Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • Guide, assign, and supervise the work of construction staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Provide timely and constructive job evaluations.
  • Implement disciplinary actions and assist with managing termination procedures as per company policy.
Education and Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelors degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in construction management or a related field.
Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to navigate construction sites and adapt to varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, climbing, stretching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
*Valid Driver's License is required.

** In the winter we do Ice Dam Removal, Twin Cities Ice Dam Removal when weather permits.
