Talent Strategy is partnering with an Foundry company within the Walker area in search of an General Laborer. Please review the job description below and apply if you are interested.


General Laborer Summary:

Assist other team members concerned with, preparing patterns, transporting patterns, preparing molds, removing castings from molds, and dressing tools by performing the following duties. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Receive instructions from Supervisor to coordinate production.
  • Transports patterns, flasks, or other materials at the facility
  • Assembles flasks, mixes coating, mixes sand, trucks and compacts sand into flasks around tools.
  • Prepare beds for flask placement.
  • May operate sand mixers that dispense sand. •May spray and/or paint and/or dip coating on surface of molds and/or patterns.
  • Fit together, clamp, and unclamp or bolt and unbolt flasks.
  • Maintain high standards in equipment and housekeeping.
  • Understand and comply with ISO 9001 quality procedures and work instructions. •
  • Understand and comply with company’s safe work practices, policies and procedures.
