Adient Aerospace is looking for a Janitor (2nd Shift) to join our team in Huntington Beach, California. This is not a remote role and must be based in Huntington Beach, CA. JOB SUMMARY

The Janitor is responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and professional appearance of the entire site including both the office and production areas. Anticipates and tends to safety concerns to ensure that facility cleanliness is maintained in a safe and secure manner. Monitors and replenishes supplies so that primary daily custodial tasks can be completed on schedule and in accordance with site expectations.

*This position is for 2nd shift (3:30 pm - 12:00 am) and includes a 15% shift differential on top of the base pay.

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

  • Maintain a clean working environment for all staff and visitors

  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms (both office and plant)

  • Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms, mops, and powered scrubbing/waxing machines

  • Clean rugs, carpets, furniture, using vacuum cleaner

  • Empty trash cans throughout office and plant

  • Wash windows, door panels, and sills

  • Replenish kitchen and bathroom supplies

  • Maintain outside walkways, walking areas, including sweeping debris and placing mats when necessary

  • Keep janitorial areas neat and orderly

  • Ensure equipment is maintained in proper working condition

  • Apply proper safety techniques and storage methods in the completion of daily custodial activities

  • Maintain awareness of supply levels and partners with Supply Chain to reorder when supply goes below required levels

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics code

  • All other duties as assigned by Supervisor

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent years of relative experience

Experience:

  • 1 – 3+ years of direct experience

Skills:

  • Position may be filled with both entry level and experienced candidates

Other:

  • Must be able to work the scheduled second shift from 3:30pm - 12:00am PST

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS
Adient Aerospace offers competitive wages and benefits to recognize employees for their work. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.

Hourly Rate Transparency: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour with an additional 15% shift differential pay offered for working 2nd shift
